A vintage dress and grey tweed | Bryony and Chris get married

In: Blog

Early in June, on one of the sunniest days of this year so far, I caught up with Chris and his groomsmen getting ready before heading to Bryony's parents home in time for her getting into her vintage wedding dress.

Bryony looked absolutely stunning in that beautiful dress and it played an emotional part of the day; being handmade by her Great Nan for her Nana, who wore it on her wedding day over 50 years ago. The lace flowers on the overlay had been individually sewn together by hand!

Bridesmaids, parents and little sister alike were all awestruck when Bryony walked down those stairs! There was plenty of time for some relaxed photos in the garden before heading to the very church that Bryony's Nana and Grandad were married in all of those years ago.

After giggling their way through most of the ceremony, greeting their guests and being bombarded with confetti; Bryony and Chris placed her bouquet by Marion Straker on her grandparents grave before heading to The Haycock Hotel.

Bryony is a wedding planner at venue where their reception was held, all of her colleagues were so excited to see her and they had everything looking perfect!

An afternoon of food, laughter, and speeches followed.

After their first dance under festoon lights by Strobe Disco Roadshow Bryony got changed into a cute evening dress and danced the night away.

This is just a small selection of their images from their wedding, a wedding that was stylish, fun, relaxed and most of all; full of love!
