Coastal pre-wedding shoot

This engagement shoot will forever remain with me as the day that didn't go quite to plan!

Stacey asked me if I would meet her and Dan at the popular Norfolk seaside town of Hunstanton for their engagement shoot. The reasoning behind this being; Stacey wanted photos of them on the carousel and also of them walking along the beach that stretches along our coastline.

This sounded like a great plan to me, so, we met near the town centre and headed towards age prom; only to discover that the tide was in and I mean right in! There wasn't a patch of visible sand as far as the eye could see!

Undeterred, we headed to the fairground to capture those carousel images, all secretly hoping that by the time we had done that the tide may have subsided a little bit!

As we rounded the corner, expecting to hear music, smell candy floss and see holiday makers riding the roller coaster; we were met by a wall of silence. You've guessed it - the fair was closed!

After some laughter and exclamations of "would you believe it" Stacey & Dan trusted me completely as they followed me to some cool concrete steps where I used to hang out with my mates as a teenager!

What a hoot! We balanced on walls, clung to railings, dodged the waves and climbed on rocks to get this awesome set of images.

A massive thank you to Stacey and Dan for being totally relaxed and seeing the funny side of having to change our plans. But thank you most of all for trusting me.
