Sparkling bridesmaids

I met Jodie at a wedding fair last year and the thing I remembered most about her was her energy, she was a little whirlwind of excitement and booked me on the spot!

I didn't meet Paul until their engagement shoot yet we got along straight away and spent a fabulous couple of hours at a place very special to them, they brought their gorgeous labrador Billy along and we got lots of fantastic images.

I arrived on the morning of the wedding to find a room filled with laughter and chatter as the ladies were having their hair and make up done. Those sparkling bridesmaid dresses - wow!! The girls hadn't seen Jodie in her gown by Stella York and their reaction the first time they saw her wearing it was priceless!

I headed to the church to capture guests arriving and Paul with his best man. The church looked beautiful with flowers by Lily Jayne Florist above the church doorway and strung high above the pew ends. Jodie and Paul laughed and smiled all of the way through their ceremony with a very funny moment when Jodie's ring wouldn't go on - but she made it fit!

After group shots at the church we headed to their reception venue at Tydd St Giles Leisure for confetti, couple shots, speeches and a fabulous meal by Cooks Catering.

Their marquee looked stunning with more flowers by Alicia at Lily Jayne, gorgeous sparkling sequin table cloths from Helen at Pudding Bridge. There were sweets galore sharing the table with their fabulous cake made by Jodie's Nanny Jean and decorated with flowers by Paul's mum, what a talented family!

Evening guests had started to arrive when Jodie and Paul took to the dance floor for their first dance sung by the wonderful Roger Styles who had been entertaining guests all afternoon.

A huge thank you to Jodie and Paul along with their family and friends for making me feel so welcome and making me such an integral part of their day.
